Samsung has recently announced its all-new Galaxy A8s that has a punch-hole design and features a trio of rear cameras and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chipset. In this display, a punch-hole sits in the top corner of the screen and houses the front-facing camera.
Talking about the specifications of the new launch from Samsung, the smartphone will have either 6GB or even 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of built-in storage. The inbuilt storage is though expandable up to 512GB via the MicroSD slot. Galaxy A8s comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-O display that will provide 1080 x 2340 resolution (FHD+) and a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio with slim bezels and chin. The punch-hole in the smartphone has a diameter of 6.7mm and it sits in the upper left of the display and houses the 24MP front-facing camera. The front-facing camera has an aperture of F/2.0.
Galaxy A8s has a 24MP sensor with F/1.7 aperture in its main rear camera while the smartphone has a 10MP telephoto lens with F/2.4 aperture as the secondary camera and the third camera has a 5MP sensor with F/2.2 aperture and provides depth of field information. This time Samsung has offered the fingerprint reader just to the right of the camera strip above the Samsung logo.
Samsung Galaxy A8s will have a 3,400mAh battery with fast charging technology via the USB Type-C charging port. Besides this, the smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s UI on top. The smartphone will be made available in Blue, Gray, and Green and can be preordered in China from December 21st. Samsung as of now has not revealed the price details regarding the phone but we will update you soon when the details will be made available.
