As per the recent reports, PlayStation Network services are facing some serious issues due to which the services are currently offline. The PlayStation Network supports online gaming, shopping and communication, and the glitch in the network has made these activities presently unavailable on the PS4. Besides this, the PlayStation Network service status page states account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Now; Vue; Video; Store; and Music are all inaccessible.
“You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features,” a message on the site reads. “Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
Overlooking the messages that have been reported by the users from the US and Europe over the social media platforms, it looks like the outage is widespread. Users from both the countries have reported issues regarding connectivity. Still, the actual cause of the problem has not been detailed by Sony and the firm has not provided any timeframe till which the services may be resumed and the users can get back to their stuff again.
The PlayStation Network services glitch that Sony is currently facing has recalled the memories of 2011. In 2011, the PlayStation Network services were not restored for a significant length of time as hackers severely compromised the network. It took a long time for Sony to get back things into places. But this time, let’s hope that the problems won’t be severe and the service should be up and running again soon.
